Football Betting at BetAnySports - Oregon State Brings Revenge Motive to Coliseum For Game vs. USC
The Oregon State Beavers had an unpleasant experience the last time they lined up against the USC Trojans. They’ll have a chance to erase that awful memory when they come into the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum for football betting action in the Pac-12, which begins at 10:30 PM ET.

In last season’s game, the Beavers were frustrated with as 31-14 defeat, despite the fact that they had as many first downs (22).

They had a difficult time stopping the Trojans on the ground (242 yards in 44 tires) and turned the ball over on three occasions. Another lowlight was dealt to this team by current USC coach Steve Sarkisian, who, as coach at Washington, drilled them to the tune of 69-27 in the penultimate game of the regular season.

In the football betting odds posted on this game at BetAnySports, the Trojans are laying slightly more than a full touchdown:

USC Trojans -7.5 (-105)
Oregon State Beavers +7.5 (-115)

Over 56 Points -110
Under 56 Points -110

USC got to stew over its last effort for the past two weeks. In that game they were beaten by Boston College, as they were pounded at the line of scrimmage, allowing a whopping 452 rushing yards and inviting charges that they are “soft” up front under the finesse-oriented Sarkisian.

Oregon State has mixed the run in more with the pass this season, but football bettors know that doesn’t say that much, in and of itself, because they hardly ran the ball at all in 2013. Sean Mannion, who threw for 4662 yards and 37 touchdowns last season, has out it up 113 times in three games, averaging just a shade under eight yards an attempt. at some point in the next few games he should be able to break the all-time Pac-12 yardage record, which is currently held by Matt Leinart. He will have to operate without leading receiver Victor Bolden, who has a dislocated finger.

BetAnySports customers know that Cody Kessler is likely to make a lot of progress under Sarkisian, who has a reputation as something of a quarterback guru. But USC demonstrated that they can’t operate by air only, as they had to punt on eight straight possessions at one stretch against Boston College.

They do have some history going in their favor, however, as Oregon State’s last win in the Coliseum was back in 1960. That means they have made 22 consecutive trips to this site without a victory.

You have to play with the extra “hook” with USC, although at that price you only have to lay -105; you can ;lay just seven points if you are willing to go to -125, which reminds us that at BetAnySports has all kinds of alternate lines for football betting action.
