The Jacksonville Jaguars may be experiencing the waning moments of Gus Bradley’s tenure with the team. They devote themselves to the run, with about a 50-50 balance between that and the air game.

They have also been a very good job of keeping the pressure on enemy quarterbacks, ranking first in sack percentage on the season. Does this bode well for Bortles? Absolutely not, especially when you can rush a young signal-caller into critical mistakes, as as what happened when he threw a pick-six last week.

The bright spots on offense are dwindling; Marquise Lee has shown some progress under new offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett, but people like wide receiver Allen Hurns (who has six drops on the season) and tight end Julius Thomas (only 12 yards receiving against Detroit) have really not been contributors to the degree anybody had hoped. And Chris Ivory, who looked like he might be able to break out with a 100-yard game a couple of weeks ago, has fumbled four times and had only 39 yards on the ground against the Lions.
