College Football Betting -- Ole Miss is #3, But Getting Points From Texas A&M
No. 1 Florida State will open its ACC schedule this Saturday with its traditional rivalry showdown against No. 22 Clemson. The Seminoles survived a close call against Oklahoma State in their season opener, but they should be well rested for this matchup coming off a bye. VietBet has listed the defending national champions as 20-point home favorites against the Tigers. This follows last season’s 51-14 romp over Clemson as 4.5-point favorites on the road. Florida State has won four of the last six meetings straight-up, but it is just 1-4 against the spread in the last five.

Heading out to the Pac-12, the Oregon Ducks opened the season as the third ranked team in the nation in the AP’s preseason poll, but they come into their conference opener against Washington State ranked No. 2 after posting a 3-0 SU start that included a huge win over then-No. 7 Michigan State. VietBet has listed the Ducks as prohibitive 24-point road favorites against the Cougars, who have opened the season 1-2 both SU and ATS. Oregon is 11-3 ATS in its last 14 road games and Washington State is 2-5 ATS in its last seven games at home.

The top showdown in the SEC sends the Florida Gators on the road to Tuscaloosa to face the No. 3 Alabama Crimson Tide. The Gators are not nearly the national power that they once were which is pretty evident in the 14.5-point spread as underdogs. Florida did open its SEC schedule with a 36-30 win over Kentucky, but it came nowhere close to covering as a 17.5-point home favorite. Alabama has gone 3-0 SU to start the season, but it has failed to cover in any of the games including a 33-23 scare against West Virginia on opening day as a 22-point road favorite. The Tide has won six of the last eight meetings in this series SU and they are 7-1 ATS.
