NCAA Football Weekly Roundup - Nov. 19
NCAA Football Weekly Roundup – Nov. 19, The college football season went through another round of games and the end result was another major shake-up at the top of the list in the College Football Playoff Rankings. The main reason was then-No. 1 Mississippi State’s 25-20 loss to Alabama this past Saturday as a nine-point road underdog.

The Crimson Tide’s win vaulted them from No. 5 all the way to the top spot in the country. Oregon remained No. 2 after taking last week off and undefeated Florida State is still No. 3 after surviving another close call. The Bulldogs held onto to their playoff spot despite the loss as the No. 4 team on the list. The odd man out at this point would be TCU, which fell from fourth to No. 5 after struggling to get by Kansas 34-30 as a heavy 27.5-point road favorite this past Saturday.

Turning to Week 13 of the season, VietBet has listed No. 12 Kansas State as a two-point road underdog for this Thursday night’s Big 12 showdown against West Virginia. The betting odds for the total have been set at 57.5. The 7-2 Wildcats may be out of the national playoff picture right now, but they are still very much in contention for the conference title. Kansas State has gone 17-5 against the spread in its last 22 road games in Big 12 play.

The first big showdown on Saturday’s college football slate sends No. 25 Minnesota on the road against No. 23 Nebraska in a key Big Ten battle for the West Division title. The Cornhuskers have been listed as 10.5-point favorites with the total set at 56.5. They are just 1-4-1 ATS in their last six home games against a conference foe.

A couple of key matchups in the Pac-12’s South Division race starts off with No. 15 Arizona on the road against No. 17 Utah. The Wildcats come in as four-point underdogs and VietBet has set the total for this game at 54. Arizona has covered ATS in five of its last seven games against the Utes.

The other big game in this division title race pits No. 19 USC on the road against No. 9 UCLA in a renewal of one of the most heated rivalries in the nation. The Bruins have been listed as 3.5-point favorites and VietBet’s total line for this game has been set at 61. UCLA has won the last two meetings both SU and ATS and the total has stayed UNDER in seven of the last eight meetings.
