Football Betting Odds at Get That Bet (http://www.getthatbet.com): Cardinals -7 (-115)

St. Louis is, of course, coming off an upset victory on the road over the San Francisco 49ers. In that game they registered eight quarterback sacks, which was surprising to many NFL bettors because of the fact that they only had six coming into the game. Robert Quinn, who was second in the league in sacks last season, now has five, after a woefully slow start.

To in this game, the Rams are going to have to get nearly mistake-free football out of their quarterback. Austin Davis has done well, considering that at one point during training camp he was #4 on the depth chart, and was thrust into action after injuries to Sam Bradford and Shaun Hill. But he will be going up against the secondary that has two outstanding cornerbacks in Antonio Cromartie and Patrick Peterson and has intercepted twelve passes this season. Get That Bet customers have come to understand one of the reasons the Cardinals are atop the NFC West, a division that includes the Seattle Seahawks and the aforementioned Niners, is that they have been able to cut down on mistakes. Two quarterbacks have seen action this season – starter Carson Palmer and Drew Stanton, who relieved him while Palmer was sitting out with a shoulder injury – and together, they have thrown only two interceptions. Also, Arizona has done a very good job of protecting Palmer, who has sustained only six sacks. So the Rams will most likely have to work extra hard to succeed at bringing pressure.

Bruce Arians is relatively unsung, because the Cardinals seem to go about their business in a very workmanlike fashion. But he has produced winners for Get That Bet patrons who have backed his team against the football betting odds, with a 13-3-1 ATS record in the last 17 contests. And the Cards have not gotten cheap wins either; they have beaten the likes of San Diego, Dallas, San Francisco and Philadelphia already. The Rams are trying to complete an upset sweep of their NFC West rivals. Can they do it?
