NFL Week 5 Parlay Picks

My all-NFC East parlay for last Sunday’s NFL games did not pay off with New York covering, but Philadelphia falling straight-up as a favorite on the road. Using Bookmaker.eu Sportsbooks NFL betting odds, I have dug deep into all the matchups on Sunday’s slate for Week 5 to come up with my top picks for another NFL Two-Team Parlay play.

NFL Week 5 Parlay Picks Game 1

New Orleans at Philadelphia: Take the Saints +5.5

I went with the Eagles last week as three-point road favorites against Washington and they tore my heart out by giving-up a late score to lose 23-20. Watching this team through the first four weeks of the season, I am not sure that Philadelphia should even be favored in this game. The Eagles have continually found ways to shoot themselves in the foot with turnovers, penalties and poor play calling and it could take the entire first half of the season to turn things around.

The Saints have been no bargain to bet on either in their 1-3 SU start, but they are starting to figure things out a bit quicker than the Eagles. New Orleans covered against Carolina in Week 4 as a 10-point road underdog with Luke McCown at quarterback and last Sunday night it beat Dallas 26-20 in overtime with Drew Brees back at the helm. He lit-up the Cowboys with 359 yards passing and two touchdown throws and as long as his shoulder holds out he should have another big day against the Eagles.

Game 2

Buffalo at Tennessee: Take the Bills -2.5

The Bills have been a very interesting team through the first four weeks in their 2-2 start both SU and ATS. They lost a shootout against New England in Week 2 followed by a blowout win over Miami the following Sunday. While I did go against them last week against the Giants as seven-point home favorites; that was because I knew that New York was better than advertised. I also know that Buffalo is a much better team than the one we witnessed last Sunday and I fully expect the Bills to bounce back this week in a big way. Tennessee is coming off an early bye following a 1 -2 SU (2-1 ATS) start. Marcus Mariota has not played all that bad in his first few NFL starts, but he is still a rookie quarterback going through his growing pains so you never know what you are going to get from one week to the next. The Titans are still the Titans so you still know that they are going to lose far more games than they win. With the USA online sports betting spread sitting at just 2.5 points, just about any loss will not be able to cover the spread.
