NBA Sports Betting Preview:

Pacers Head Home For Game Three Thursday After Stealing Home Court Advantage

The Indiana Pacers entered their best-of-seven second round series against the New York Knicks fully aware that they would need at least one road win to advance. After stealing home court away from the Knicks in game one, Indiana sure made it easy on them in a 105-79-blowout loss in game two, but are in a good position heading back home. The Pacers haven’t lost at home so far this season, but they will face a difficult test as New York looks to return the favor and steal one on the road. Each of these teams was at one point or another expected to be the biggest obstacle standing in the way of the Miami Heat making it back to the NBA Finals, but the longer this series goes on the more difficult it will become for either team to deal with the defending NBA champions.

NHL Live Betting Preview: Canadiens Return Home Facing 3-1 Series Deficit Thursday

The Montreal Canadiens took a 2-0 lead in to game the third period of game four against the Ottawa Senators, and wee just 20 minutes away from evening their best-of-seven series at two wins each. However, the Canadiens gave up two goals in the final 10 minutes of regulation, and after Carey Price was injured in the dying seconds of the hockey game it was Peter Budaj in goal when the Senators scored the game-winning goal. Montreal will now face a difficult three-games-to-one series deficit heading back to the Bell Centre, and if Price can’t play because of the injury he suffered in game four then the Canadiens will have a tough time extending this series any further.

MLB Sports Bet Preview: Streaking Cardinals Look To Add To NL Central Lead

The St. Louis Cardinals were the hottest team in baseball after stringing together six-straight wins prior to Tuesday’s series opener against the Chicago Cubs. There is every reason to think they will extend their lead atop the division by taking care of Chicago, the team that sits at the bottom of the NL Central heading in to this week. The Cardinals own the seventh-highest scoring offense in the majors this season, but as impressive as that is they also own the top-ranked pitching staff. St. Louis ranks first in both quality starts and team ERA, and will look to add to their early success in order to build on their lead in a very tough NL Central division.
