Later this month, all 32 NFL teams will report to its respective training camp site to begin preparations for the upcoming season. While the stated goal for everyone of these teams is to win the Super Bowl, the reality of the matter points to a few contenders that have a legitimate shot at going all the way. BetAnySports has recently updated its NFL futures odds to win Super Bowl LIII in Atlanta and my job is to find the best betting value in the numbers.

What Are The NFL Super Bowl LIII Betting Futures?

The team at the top of the list should come as no big surprise with the New England Patriots set as +625 favorites. They have gone to the last two league title games; beating the Atlanta Falcons in 2016 and losing to the Philadelphia Eagles last season. They also won the Super Bowl in 2014 as part of an extended run that goes all the way back to the 2000 regular season when Bill Belichick took over the reins as head coach. The last team to make it to three-straight Super Bowls was the Buffalo Bills as part of an unprecedented 0-4 run from 1990 to 1993.

The second-favorite on the board to win Super Bowl LIII is the Eagles as last year’s champs. Their betting odds have been set at +800 to become the first team since the 2003/2004 Patriots to win back-to-back world titles. All the key pieces remain in place for another championship run as long as third-year quarterback Carson Wentz can successfully return to form from a serious knee injury. Nick Foles won Super Bowl LII MVP honors as his backup, but this year’s team is going as far as Wentz can take it.

Next on BetAnySports’ futures list at +1000 betting odds is the Minnesota Vikings. They were in position to become the first NFL team to play a Super Bowl in its home stadium, but a lopsided 38-7 loss to Philadelphia as three-point road favorites in last season’s NFC Championship ended that run. New for 2018 is Kirk Cousins at quarterback after coming over from Washington as a free agent. The Vikings are hoping that he will be the answer to bringing home the first world title in franchise history against four previous Super Bowl losses.

Bet On The New England Patriots To Win The NFL Super Bowl LIII?

The Pittsburgh Steelers have been living in the tall shadow cast by New England in the AFC the past few years. Their betting odds to finally break through with their first Super Bowl title since 2008 have been set at +1200 along with the Los Angeles Rams. Each team made an early exit from last year’s playoffs in games they were favored to win at home. The Steelers still have veteran quarterback Ben Roethlisberger under center and up and coming superstar Jared Goff begins his third season as the Rams’ signal caller.

The Super Bowl futures odds for a few teams farther down the list include Green Bay at +1400 followed by New Orleans at +1600. Each team has a quarterback that can take his team deep into the postseason with Aaron Rodgers healthy and ready to go for the Packers and Drew Brees coming off one of his best seasons for the Saints.
