Where Can I Bet NCAA March Madness College Basketball Tournament

Pointspread: BYU -4.5
Total: 166 points

Teams who are left out of the NCAA Tournament can often get some satisfaction out of their experience in the smaller tournaments, if their motivation level is there. Schools that are disappointed about an NIT invitation, for example, often get upset in the first round of activity. But the Creighton Blue Jays and BYU Cougars have made the most of this opportunity, and on Tuesday night they will meet with a chance to go to Madison Square Garden for the semi-finals. Game time is 9 PM ET at the Marriott Arena.

BYU is fortunate in that they can get to the Garden without having to travel for any of their three preliminary games. So far they have beaten UAB and Virginia Tech (in a struggle) at the Marriott Arena, where they have been very comfortable through the years. Now they take on a Creighton team that has had very competitive road outings recently against the likes of Xavier and Providence, and has really come of age on defense (seemingly) while playing in the NIT.

We say “seemingly” to BetAnySports Asian Bookies patrons because in their two previous outings before the NIT, they had allowed opponents to shoot at least 50% from the field. But their two tournament foes, Alabama and Wagner, have BOTH made just 28% of their shots. How good is that? Well, that is the worst those two tams have shot all year! The Blue Jays must be doing something right.

They suffer something of a blow in this one, in that they will be without Isaiah Zierden, who has injured his shoulder and will not be available to them for as long as this journey lasts. Of course, people like seven-foot center Geoffrey Groselle are trying to make sure that it gos a little longer. To say that he is an accurate shooter would be a vast understatement; Groselle is 68% from the floor, and he was 7-for-7 against Wagner. Let’s see how BYU goes about pushing him beyond his comfort zone.

Kyle Collingsworth, the senior leader for the Cougars, was reportedly bothered by an illness but is being listed as probable for this one. Collingsworth had 18 points and ten assists in the 80-77 win over Virginia Tech last time out – a game that was a little too close for comfort, considering that the Hokies were traveling on very short rest, after an overtime game, and had to deal with the high altitude.

BYU, which lost to Gonzaga in the semi-finals of the West Coast Conference tournament, have covered four of their last five home games, has gone just 1-3-1 against the basketball pointspread over its last five games. Creighton has lost five of its last six games on the road. They average 79.6 ppg, while BYU tallies 83.9. So one or both teams is likely to push this pace.
