College Football Week 9 Parlay Picks

College Football Week 9 Parlay Picks, Last week’s parlay started off on a good note with Duke’s straight-up win against Virginia Tech as a three-point road underdog, but it came unglued when North Carolina failed to cover in its win over Virginia. I am sticking with the ACC again this week with a pair of picks that have a great chance to cash-in on BetOnline USA live betting Sportsbooks odds for the games.

College Football Week 9 Parlay Picks Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets at Virginia Cavaliers

Pointspread: Georgia Tech -4

The Yellow Jackets finally ended a straight-up five-game skid with Saturday’s 22-16 upset of Florida State as five-point home favorites. The expectation level for this team was sky-high before the season got underway and Georgia Tech finally lived-up to its potential in that huge upset. The next task at hand is to salvage the season with at least six wins starting with Virginia this Saturday afternoon.

Give the Cavaliers credit for hanging tough against North Carolina last Saturday in a 26-13 loss as 16-point road underdogs, but I am not too sure that they can put up the same kind of fight two weeks in a row. Virginia is only averaging 24 points a game with an offense that has struggled in both its passing game and its running game. Combined with the fact that the Cavaliers’ defense is allowing an average of 34.7 points a game, I cannot see them covering again with just four points at home.

College Football Week 9 Parlay Picks No. 3 Clemson Tigers at North Carolina State Wolfpack

Pointspread: Clemson -10

Clemson is now the toast of the ACC as the final undefeated team at 7-0 SU, but it has its eyes set on a much bigger prize; a spot in the four team College Football Playoff. The Tigers crushed Miami 58-0 this past Saturday to easily cover as eight-point road favorites and it is hard to see NC State putting up that tough of a fight as 10-point underdogs at home. Clemson has remained undefeated on the year behind a stifling defense that is ranked seventh in points allowed (14.3).

The Wolfpack are off to a solid 5-2 start both SU and ATS, but they lost to Louisville as favorites and to Virginia Tech by 15 points as 2.5-point underdogs on the road. Their overall record has been padded with a very soft nonconference schedule and that should be exposed this Saturday against one of the top teams in the nation. Clemson has won 10 of the last 11 meetings in this ACC tilt SU and it 5-2 ATS in its last seven road games against NC State. Lay the 10 points in this one as the Tigers continue to roll.
